Culture and the Arts

​Culture and the Arts are integral to the life of St Eugene College, involving students, staff and parents. The various Culture and the Arts opportunities focus on students developing the ability to work collaboratively, critically reflect, think and express themselves creatively, while making friends and building confidence.

Extra curricula opportunities within The Arts and Culture include:

  • Dance troupes (years 2 to 10)
  • School musical (years 2 to 12)
  • Instrumental music
  • Vocal group
  • Rock band
  • Choir
  • Guitar and string Ensemble
  • Student participation in external competitions, Arts and Culture showcases, festivals and eisteddfods in drama, media, visual arts, dance and music
  • Student participation also includes; Wakkakiri, Shakefest, Sounds of St Eugene (music), St Columban's Concert Band Spectacular, QCMF (music).
