Culture and the Arts are integral to the life of St Eugene College, bringing together students, staff and parents in a shared celebration of creativity and expression. The various Culture and the Arts opportunities focus on students developing the ability to work collaboratively, critically reflect, think and express themselves creatively. These experiences not only nurture creativity, but foster friendships, build confidence and strengthen our sense of community. 

 

Co and Extra curricula opportunities within The Arts and Culture include: 

  • Arts Nights 

  • Cultural Nights 

  • College Musical (every second year) 

  • Instrumental music program (1-12) 

  • Choirs (2-3 and 4-6)

  • Participation and opportunities for students to enter festivals, eisteddfods and competitions in Film, Media, Visual Art, Dance and Music (including SHEP – State Honours Ensemble Program and AHEP – Australian Honours Ensemble Program through Griffith University)

  • Annual festivals such as Sounds of St Eugene, QCMF (Queensland Catholic Music Festival) and Dance X
