Interview
Once the application has been processed and considered, your family may be invited to attend an enrolment interview.
Prep
Prep interviews are held in March the year before your child is due to commence Prep
Year 7
First round enrolment interviews for Year 7 will be held in April in the year your child is in Year 5. If we have vacancies, a second round of interviews may occur in March the year your child is in Year 6.
As we are a Prep - 12 School, our Year 6 students are automatically enrolled and do not need to go through the interview process. Because of this, we enrol between 30 - 40 students for the new year 7 cohort.
Please note: An invitation to interview does not guarantee an offer of enrolment. All applications are reviewed in line with our Enrolments Criteria.
Offer of enrolment
Following your enrolment interview, our team carefully reviews each application. Families can expect to receive the outcome of their enrolment application within two weeks of their interview, and our Enrolments team will be available to support you throughout the process.
Should your application be successful an acceptance of enrolment form will be supplied to you. You are asked to complete this form giving careful consideration to the obligations regarding school fees and accepting school policies and supporting the school ethos.
Please note your enrolment is not finalised until this acceptance form is returned to the school office and a non-refundable $250.00 Confirmation of Enrolment Fee payable within three (3) weeks of acceptance. This fee will be credited to your first school fee issued.
Where applications exceed available places, families will be added to our waitlist.
For enrolments into year levels other than Prep or Year 7, or for students seeking a mid-year start, interviews will be conducted subject to the availability of places within the relevant cohort.
Subject to availability, places may be offered to students wishing to enrol at any time throughout the school year.
Choosing a school is one of the most important decisions you'll make for your child. While every school offers learning opportunities, Catholic schools provide an education that nurtures the whole child – academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
At our school, your child will be known, valued and supported as an individual. We strive to create a welcoming community where students feel a sense of belonging, develop strong relationships and are encouraged to become their very best version of themselves.
Catholic education is grounded in values such as compassion, respect, service, inclusion and justice. These values are woven through everyday school life, helping students grow into confident young people who care for others and make a positive contribution to their community.
One of the greatest benefits of a P–12 school is the continuity, familiarity and sense of belonging it provides for students and families throughout their educational journey.
From their first years of schooling through to graduation, students are part of one connected community where they are known, supported and encouraged to grow academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
Families also benefit from building long-term relationships with teachers, staff and other families over many years.
While our school does take a year 7 intake, A particular advantage of a P–12 school is the transition from Year 6 to Year 7. Rather than moving to a completely new school environment, students move confidently into their secondary years within a familiar community. They already know the campus, many of the staff and older students, helping to reduce anxiety and build confidence during what can be a significant milestone.
Our school carefully supports students throughout this transition, with opportunities to become familiar with secondary routines, facilities, expectations and learning experiences before they begin Year 7. This allows students to focus on embracing new opportunities, developing independence and building new friendships, while feeling secure in an environment where they already belong.
For many families, a P–12 education offers the best of both worlds: the excitement of new learning experiences and the reassurance of a supportive community that walks alongside their child every step of the way.
Prep students engage with the Foundation Year of the
Australian Curriculum through a play-based program that encourages curiosity. In our safe and nurturing environment, children learn through exploration and discovery, supported every step of the way by caring teachers. With access to a purpose-built Prep precinct, students build confidence, form friendships and develop the skills they need for a positive and successful transition to Year 1.
To help your child feel confident and excited about starting school, we offer a range of orientation events prior to their first day. These opportunities allow your child and family to become familiar with our school community, meet key staff and begin building connections before their first day. Enrolled families will receive further information about these events closer to the time.
We are now accepting applications for 2029 and beyond. Please refer to the enrolment intake information for current year level availability.
As a P–12 school, our largest intake years are Prep and Year 7, and we encourage families to submit applications as early as possible. These year levels often attract the highest demand, and enrolment offers are typically made well in advance of commencement to give families plenty of time to prepare.
If you're considering enrolment for Prep or Year 7, we recommend applying early to maximise the opportunity to secure a place and participate in our transition and orientation activities. Our team is always happy to discuss enrolment timelines and answer any questions you may have.
Enrolment offers for Prep are typically made in Term 2, the year before they commence. Where applications exceed available places, families will be placed on the waitlist.
Enrolment offers for Year 7 are made in Term 1 of Year 4. Where applications exceed available place, families will be placed on the waitlist.
Applications for other year levels are welcomed and are assessed based on availability at the time of application.
