Living in the 21st century means living in a world that is increasingly reliant on information and communication technologies. St Eugene College is focussed on creating a digital school culture by integrating ICLTs (Information Communication Learning Technology) in teaching and learning within and across the curriculum.
In sustaining a future-focused digital school culture our students have access to leading edge digital applications and design processes when producing digital products. Students work collaboratively to support and lead each other in learning about, and with, ICLTs.
The College has implemented the strategies for designing and maintaining a reliable network with wireless infrastructure, workstations, laptops and resources, ensuring connectivity to all learning spaces and staff areas. Our school intranet provides an on-line learning environment accessible to the school community anywhere, anytime. Additionally, all year eight students have been supplied with a EeePc laptop to support them in learning.
